{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"5aa6a1e906ee35eb8b0d636e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5aa6a1e906ee35eb8b0d636e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5aa6a1e906ee35eb8b0d636e","title":"GIS Programmer","description":"The consultant may work remotely up to 2 days per week, equivalent to approximately 40% remote and 60% onsite\n\nThe client is seeking a qualified Senior GIS Programmer/Systems Analyst to perform application development and support activities supporting the client's GIS Program and the Office of Planning.\nThe programmer will assist in the upgrade and development of an Agricultural Preservation Model, upgrading the current custom ArcMap AddIn (C#/Python ) to an ArcGIS Pro AddIn.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\nGIS application development in an Enterprise GIS environment\nCode review, documentation, planning and development\nDatabase development\n\nMinimum Qualifications/Skill Sets\nMinimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python.\nMinimum of three (3) years working with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS API’s, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDK’s, and ArcSDE\nExperience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python\nStrong Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Triggers, and Stored Procedures.\nDevelopment of reports using SSRS, Power BI\nStrong knowledge of relational databases and concepts (Oracle, SQL Server preferred)\nExcellent communication skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications/Skill Sets\nGraduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field and five years’ experience in systems analysis, change management analysis, project management, program analysis, or a closely related field.\nRecent engagement with a government entity\n\nNotes:\nThis position follows a hybrid work schedule established in coordination with the hiring manager after onboarding, training and issuance of equipment.
