Customer Service Representative
We have an opening for a Customer Service Representative to support our Hoover Architectural Solutions (HAS) business. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the CSR is responsible for managing customer orders from entry to receipt and providing an exemplary customer experience to all internal and external customers.Duties & Responsibilities include:Facilitate sales order management to include lead times, pricing, and workflow/updates to customers, account managers and managementProvide product and support information to customers for all product offerings to include handling of both domestic and export accountsReceive and systematically enter customer purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate entry of sales orders appropriate products coding, terms and conditions of sale.Monitor sales order status and provide information to customers, field sales, and managementInterface with Scheduling, Materials Management, Shipping and other departments in gathering information to support order processing effective salesReview order entry and processing to ensure compliance with company policy and legal requirements and eliminate order entry errors, maintain compliance with all external legal requirements, company policies and procedures and low occurrence of errors, higher customer order delivery performanceMaintain a safe working environment and support Arconic safety initiativesHelp identify problems that arise with orders or in order process and participate in problem solving as neededHandling of customer complaints, including participation in claims investigationChallenges include balancing pressing priorities, defusing emotions of upset customers Basic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, sales or call - center environmentEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree strongly preferred5+ years' experience in customer service, sales, or call - center environmentProficient in using MS Office application
