{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"5aa0f8d95e2f9bebc97f8188","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5aa0f8d95e2f9bebc97f8188","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5aa0f8d95e2f9bebc97f8188","title":"Program Manager","description":"Program Manager\r\nLocation: Wallops Island, VA\r\nRemote Status: Hybrid\r\nJob ID: 4246\r\nof Openings: 1\r\nPurpose\r\nValkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a full-time Program Manager to oversee the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW), in Wallops Island, VA.\r\nJob Description\r\nDevelops mechanisms for monitoring progress and for intervention and problem solving.\r\nIntegrates all functions and activities necessary to perform the project/program to meet customer requirements.\r\nDirects personnel, manages cost, schedules, ensures contract compliance and serves as customer interface.\r\nMonitors project to ensure scope of work, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.\r\nVariables in determining contract complexity include technology used, schedule requirements, cost, contract complexity, risk, number and complexity of subcontractors, and customer complexity.\r\nQualifications\r\nMust have a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline and at least 5 years of experience managing a large technical effort, similar in size and scope of this effort.\r\nMust have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing large projects including ability to plan, develop schedules, organize, and coordinate team members to accomplish assigned tasks; demonstrated experience specifically directed to combat systems facilities related to Aegis, Aegis BMD, or SSDS weapon and combat systems and technology development, work breakdown structures, spending plans, and financial tracking.\r\nSecurity Requirements\r\nMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.\r\nPrefer an Active DoD Secret security clearance.\r\nTravel Requirements\r\nOccasional travel up to 25%.\r\nIf position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nRemaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.\r\nMoving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.\r\nCommunicating with others to exchange information.\r\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.\r\nLight work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.\r\nEqual Employment Opportunity\r\nValkyrie strictly adheres to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
