The Software Developer works with various teams to create software that solves problems. This role is best suited for a creative and positive developer who can take requirements and turn them into responsive, high-performing solutions. The ideal person for this role must work well within a team, have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and be agile in a demanding environment. Lastly, this role embodies all of Diamond Assets' Core Values: Teamwork, Flexibility, Service, Integrity, and Innovation.\nWhat you'll do:\nSoftware development and database design including architecture, normalization, and management.\nIntegrate solutions with various platforms including FileMaker, MySQL, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Tableau.\nMaintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing solutions built with FileMaker, Python, and other programing languages.\nMaintain code quality, organization, fixing bugs, identifying and correcting bottlenecks.\nDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external collaborators and partners.\nTraining and provide professional development on solutions.\nQualifications:\n5+ years of software and database development experience\n2+ years of web development experience\nAn understanding of development lifecycles and software design principles\nAn understanding of UI, UX and interface guidelines\nAn understanding of various programming languages and database development\nExperience working with Git or other source control systems\nAdvanced data relationship skill and knowledge\nAttention to detail and good organization skills\nDeep understanding of FileMaker 19 including FileMaker Server, FM Go and Claris Connect (certification is a plus, but not required)\nPython, SQL/MySQL, C++, and Bash experience\nHTML5/CSS/JavaScript, Express.js, and Node.js experience\nExperience with web integration, JSON/REST APIs/etc.\nExperience with ERP, SCM, finance, POS, E-commerce is a plus.\nExperience with Project Management and/or Agile software development is a plus.\nInterest in PHP, XML, React, Ruby/Rails, or Swift/iOS is a plus.\nBeyond:\nThe position transcends the technical.
