This role will collaborate closely with the Applications & Technology team and interface with various stakeholders to ensure effective integration of Pfeiffer abatements in semiconductor processes.\n\nEssential Functions and Major Responsibilities\nCollaborate with customers to understand their semiconductor processes and requirements, providing tailored abatement solutions and specifications.\nProvide technical expertise in integrating Pfeiffer products into diverse semiconductor manufacturing environments.\nSpecify and validate system configurations for semiconductor customers, ensuring alignment with industry standards and Application BKMs.\nConduct technical sales presentations to showcase Pfeiffer applications in semiconductor manufacturing.\nCollaborate with technology, engineering, manufacturing, and sales department to assist in the continuous improvement of legacy products (CIP) and/or design and development of new products necessary to make target accounts successful.\nWork closely with Engineering and Application teams to prepare and review equipment engineering documents (SEED, etc.).\nProvide input and actively participate in abatement troubleshooting/expertise and resolving quality / process issues with pumps installed at target customer sites; actively participate in writing failure analysis reports and 8D reports to customer.\nPerform abatement calculations and develop system fingerprints during the specification process.\nReview and approve customer-specific chemistry change requests.\nParticipate actively in installed base follow-up and optimization.\n\nSecondary Functions\nParticipate in writing install, maintenance and service procedures with local field service support.\nMaintain well-documented records for fingerprints, calculations, and installation documentation.\nParticipate in continuous improvement projects, safety meetings, task force and escalation meetings, management reviews, etc. as requested.\nPropose & participate actively in customer application training\nOccasional work in the subfab may be required.\nAssist in other applications team duties as needed.\nCross-training for applications support in other products as needed.\n\nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
