Inventory Control Kitter
1st Shift Mon - Thurs 5:00AM - 3:30pm,2nd shift Mon - Thurs 3:30PM - 2:00AMThe Inventory Control Kitter is responsible for accurately picking, preparing kits of materials, components, or parts required for production, assembly, or shipment. This role ensures all kits meet quality and quantity requirements while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient material flow throughout the organization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Pick and assemble materials, parts, or components according to work orders, or production schedules.Verify kit contents for accuracy, completeness, and quality prior to release.Update inventory records and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items.Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and other stock control activities.Coordinate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials.Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.Identify opportunities to improve kitting processes and reduce waste.Education and/or ExperienceRequired: High school diploma or equivalentBlueprint reading or Metal fabrication experienceBasic understanding of inventory systems and bills of materialsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic computer skills ( ERP or inventory management software experience a plus)Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.Must be able to read and write EnglishBilingual - Spanish Preferred: Bilingual - Spanish Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or material handling preferredThe benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, IRA with company match, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, MetLaw, LifeLock, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accident insurance, paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, and floating holiday pay.
