This role bridges the gap between technical field work and corporate financial health, ensuring precise financial management and strategic decision-making support.\n\nController - Responsibilities:\n\nOwn the full-cycle accounting and financial reporting processes\nEnsure accurate billing and manage accounts receivable\nMaster complex GovCon portals for financial submissions\nMaintain job cost and project financial visibility\nImplement practical internal controls and audit-ready documentation\nCommunicate clearly and enforce financial discipline\n\nController - Mandatory Skills:\n\n7+ years of accounting/finance experience including month-end close\nStrong job cost/project accounting experience\nAdvanced Excel competency\nExperience with Payroll, AP/AR reconciliations, and Internal Control\nAdvanced knowledge of bookkeeping systems and financial reporting\n\nController – Nice-to-Have Skills:\n\nPassed the CPA exam\nExperience with SAM, PIEE, WAWF, and GSA Portals\nFamiliarity with QuickBooks, Expensify, or industry-specific tools\n\nController – Assignment Length:\nThis is a permanent position.\n\nController - Start Date:\nASAP.\n\nController - Assignment Location:\nKaty, Texas, United States.
