Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Description Job Summary: Seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to provide outpatient and inpatient therapy services in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role involves delivering patient care across various clinical environments, including swing bed, observation, and extended recovery units. Responsibilities:Assist licensed therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.Provide therapeutic interventions to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.Document patient progress and modify treatments as necessary.Support clinical operations, including answering phones and maintaining treatment areas.Float to different departments such as One Day Surgery when census is low.Ensure compliance with licensure, certifications, and safety protocols. Qualifications:Hold current Missouri licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.Possess at least 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy.Certification in BLS and CPR through the American Heart Association.Available to work one Saturday per month with scheduled day off during the week.Demonstrate the ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to floating requirements.Prior experience in outpatient and inpatient care is preferred.
