The Turf Management Applicator applies fertilizers, weed control, and other turf care products to residential and commercial properties according to established schedules and safety guidelines. Daily tasks include loading and maintaining application equipment, measuring and treating lawns, and documenting materials used and services performed. The role involves inspecting turf conditions, identifying weeds or pest issues, and communicating service notes or recommendations to customers or supervisors. The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, following all safety, environmental, and label instructions, and helping with general yard, shop, and inventory tasks as needed.QualificationsExperience or strong interest in turf care, lawn maintenance, landscaping, or a related outdoor service field.Ability to safely operate and maintain application equipment (e.g., spreaders, sprayers) and basic hand tools.Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper handling, mixing, and application of fertilizers and control products, including label and safety compliance.Physical ability to perform outdoor work, including walking, lifting bags of product (up to 50 lbs), and working in varying weather conditions for extended periods.Strong attention to detail for accurately measuring property areas, applying products evenly, and recording services and materials used.Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and supervisors.Reliable transportation to Fort Washington, PA, consistent punctuality, and the ability to work a flexible part-time schedule during peak seasons.Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record preferred, and any applicable state pesticide or applicator certifications.Commitment to workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and respectful, inclusive teamwork.
