{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"5a7ff6495e5b6c1c6fe4f098","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5a7ff6495e5b6c1c6fe4f098","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5a7ff6495e5b6c1c6fe4f098","title":"Associate Electronic Assembler - 2nd Shift","description":"Following written instructions assembles a variety of components to produce sub-assemblies or finished product that meet requirements.\n\nQualifications/ Responsibilities\n\nHas basic knowledge of soldering and can complete a J-STD certification and pass a soldering skill evaluation\nAssembles handpieces, optical products, and various types of mechanical, pneumatic and electronic products according to written specifications and procedures\nCapable of reading blueprints and follow work instructions\nAssembles, prepares, and molds various types of wire harnesses and cable assemblies\nInspects parts, assemblies, and products throughout the production process\nPerforms production tests on various assemblies, subassemblies, and final products\nUses a variety of hand tools and manual, semi-automatic, automatic assembly test equipment\nUnderstands and complies with ESD requirements\nMust be willing and able to continually rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment\nMust be able to work all scheduled overtime\nMust have basic understanding of computers\nPerforms preventive maintenance on tools, equipment and machines as required.\nPerforms other related tasks including housekeeping tasks required to keep work areas clean and organized.\nObserves all safety rules and regulations including the wearing of protective equipment when required.\nSustains and maintains 5S standards and all continuous improvement activities\nCommunicates with the other shifts, if applicable, the status of parts, equipment and any other matters that might have an impact on their job.\n\nRequirements:\nA minimum 1 years’ experience as an electronic assembler with proven soldering proficiency\nMust be able to stand for up to eight hours per day, ability to move about, bends, stoops, uses hands and lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.
