We bring experiences to the forefront of everything we do, and to do that takes special people.Position PurposeEntry level position as part of a survey crew to assist with field surveying activities including the maintenance of all survey equipment.Essential Functions + ResponsibilitiesBe assigned to a team that is responsible for surveying land and collecting data about land conditions prior to development projectsAdjust and operate surveying instruments such as Leica/Nikon, digital and automatic levels and various survey related softwareMove and carry all surveying instruments at job sites across various kinds of landscapesUse well-established standards to record survey measurements and descriptive data using data collectors and GPSAll work is outdoors and crews work in all weather conditionsQualificationsWilling to learnHardworking and detail-orientedAble to work with a team respectfully and effectively (including both peers and supervisors)Punctual and dependableCandidates must have a valid driver’s licenseCandidates will have to successfully pass a motor vehicle records check, drug test, and functional assessmentMcAdams is an equal opportunity employer.
