If you thrive on building scalable systems, driving technical excellence, and turning complex ideas into real-world products, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.\n\nWhile this role is primarily onsite at our Kent office, we offer flexible work day start and end times, and additional options to help you maintain work life balance - choose between five-8 hour days or four-9 hour days with a half day Friday.\n\nWhat You?ll Do\n\nDesigns a complete and complex framework, system and product.\nDefines processes for technical platforms, systems specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility\nUses current programming language and technologies, writes codes, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications\nCompletes documentation and procedure for installation and maintenance\nInteracts with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications\nConceives system interfaces and business application prototypes\nIdentifies, analyzes, and resolves system design weaknesses\nInfluences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems\nProvides multi-layered technical expertise for next-generation initiatives\nResponsible for complicated design and architecture\nAbility to mentor and delegate to more junior engineers\nLeads team of developers\nWrites detailed design and communicates appropriately\nAssists other areas to develop and maintain timeliness of projects\n\nWhat You?ll Bring\n\nBS in Software, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering\n7+ years? experience in embedded systems and board bring-up\nProficiency in Linux OS\nProficiency in C/C++/C# and Python\nWorking knowledge of serial buses, i2c, SPI, and Ethernet\nSolid understanding of network protocols such as PTP, NTP, DHCP, etc., network debugging of multicast and unicast packets.
