The ideal candidate will have experience working with dotCMS, a strong understanding of web development best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain web applications and content management solutions using dotCMS.\nCustomize and extend dotCMS functionalities to meet business requirements.\nCollaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.\nWrite clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize dotCMS applications for performance and scalability.\nStay current with dotCMS updates, industry trends, and best practices.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequirements\nProven experience with dotCMS platform and web development technologies (Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, integrations, and deployment processes.\nUnderstanding of content management systems, workflows, and taxonomy.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\nExperience with cloud hosting environments and DevOps tools.\nKnowledge of SEO, accessibility, and user experience principles.\ndotCMS certification or similar credentials.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nWe want everyone at CapTech to be able to envision a lasting and rewarding career here, which is why we offer a variety of career paths based on your skills and passions.
