Their aim is to deliver sophisticated financial planning and investment management solutions through their Appointed Representative (AR) network.Due to team expansion the business now seeks to appoint 2 qualified, competent and experienced Training & Competency Officers in the Yorkshire area to work alongside the Senior Supervisor. Please read on for further details.Training and CompetenceSupport the supervisor in delivering the risk-based Training & Competence scheme for advisory staff to incorporate the requirements of the Senior Manager’s Regime and the Certification RegimeMonitor adviser Key Performance Indicators, following up with One-to-One’s where deemed appropriateDistribute online staff tests and Continuing Professional Development assignmentsUndertake competency & skills assessments such as role plays and observations on Registered IndividualsIdentify learning gaps and design training, recovery and improvement plans as appropriateLiaise with the Risk & Compliance team to ensure effective communication of training and competence across the business.Liaise with the Head of Advice Proposition and QC Manager to always deliver a coherent message to advisers.Compliance SupportHandle queries and provide support for advisers regarding compliance mattersAd-hoc project work to support the compliance function.Provide support to the Quality Control team for high risk, and complex case reviews.On-boarding of Advisers and Appointed RepresentativesAssist with the assessment and on-boarding of new AR firms and individualsDeliver staff inductions including data protection, anti-money laundering and ethics training and testingManage outbound advisers and firms.Experience And QualificationsFinancial Services T&C experience with a high level of written and numerical detail is essential, alongside technical knowledge of pensions and investments relating to Financial Advice.You will already hold the Diploma level 4 qualification in Regulated Financial Planning and be willing to sit further required examinations.These opportunities are home based but you will be expected to travel (Yorkshire only) to adviser firms to run T&C programs and build relationships with the Advisers.
