AI Application Engineer

OverviewWe are looking for an AI Application Engineer with a solid background in software development who is passionate about developing real-world applications with integrated AI capabilities. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and deploying intelligent features using LLMs, AI APIs, and vector databases while ensuring they fit seamlessly into custom developed software systems. You should have a strong foundation in software engineering, preferably with .NET for back-end development or React.js for front-end development, with experience in integrating AI capabilities such as LLM toolchains, prompt engineering, tokenization and embeddings, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, into the applications that you built.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop AI-powered features within our existing web platforms built on .NET (C#) and React.JSIntegrate AI services like OpenAI GPT, Claude, or Hugging Face models into web applicationsBuild intelligent components such as: Conversational assistants or AI chatbots; Document summarization and classification; Smart search using embeddings and vector similarity (e.g., RAG pipelines)Implement prompt engineering techniques and optimize model usage (latency, cost, accuracy)Work with vector databases for storing and querying embeddingsCollaborate with frontend/backend teams to ship features that enhance user experience with AIMaintain high code quality through clean code and scalable architectureQualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field1+ years of experience in software development as a software engineer, either with .NET backend or React.JS frontendHands-on experience in designing and integrating AI capabilities into software applicationsFamiliarity with source control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)Familiarity with OpenAI API, LangChain, or similar LLM toolchainsExperience with chatbot frameworks or voice-based AI integrationsNice to have: familiarity with AI/ML workflows and libraries like Hugging Face, Transformers, or scikit-learnGood English communication skills (verbal and written) to coordinate with team members, clients, and managementJ-18808-Ljbffr
