This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience who is looking to focus their career on preconstruction and estimating.We are open to a variety of backgrounds, including:Project Engineers with strong estimating exposure or rotationsAssistant Project Managers or PM/Estimators looking to transition into a dedicated estimating roleEstimators coming from commercial or multifamily construction backgroundsKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up commercial construction projectsPerform quantity take-offs and analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documentsSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bidsAssist with budgeting, conceptual estimates, and value engineeringCollaborate with project managers, superintendents, and ownership during preconstructionIdentify cost risks and opportunities throughout the bidding processMaintain accurate documentation and estimate trackingQualifications3+ years of experience in estimating or a related construction roleExperience with ground-up construction projects preferredStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricingAbility to read and interpret plans and specificationsExperience with takeoff and estimating softwareStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsWhat We OfferIndustry-leading retention and team stabilityClear growth path within preconstruction/estimatingExposure to a wide variety of project typesFull benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO)APPLY TODAY: megan.cantone@gogpac.com
