Quality Assurance Engineer

Summary of Position:Coordinate activities to direct and control an organization in order to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its performance.Corporate:Adheres to the HTGSS policies and proceduresLearns, demonstrates and upholds HTGSS Core ValuesComplies with all HTGSS Certification standards; Management System (TS16949), Environmental ISO 14001 and Health and Safety OHSAS 18001 policies and proceduresTreats all HTGSS team members with respect and professional courtesyAlways strives to maintain a positive work environmentManages the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budgetPerforms additional assignments / duties as required by HODEHS:Adhere to all safety policies and proceduresComplies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environmentMeets company safety goalsDuties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):Assures that only PPAP approved products are delivered to the customer (including process changes, supplier changes, transfers, etc.). Assures that all lessons learned (alerts, customer complaints, analyses, warranty evaluations, etc.) are respected within program phase and serial production. Implement Internal Product, System and Process Audits. Develop and implement quality system documentation and procedures. IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 Management representative. Assure IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements are implemented. Education/ Experience Required:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience. At least 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
