As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various equipment used in our production facility. The position requires expertise in working with fillers, steam generators, pneumatics, 3 phase motors, electrical schematics, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within the food and beverage industry.\nResponsibilities:\nConduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on equipment such as fillers, steam generators, pneumatics, and 3 phase motors.\nTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing electrical schematics and other technical documentation.\nPerform repairs and replacements of faulty components to ensure equipment functionality and minimize downtime.\nCollaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and address maintenance tasks in a timely manner.\nAdhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.\nKeep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and repairs completed.\nAssist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.\nProvide training and support to junior maintenance staff as needed.\nCoordinate with the maintenance manager and plant engineer to optimize maintenance processes and procedures.\nMaintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies, and request necessary replenishments when needed.\nUtilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order management and documentation.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications or relevant trade school education is a plus.\n3-5 years of experience in maintenance within the food and beverage industry.\nStrong knowledge and experience working with fillers, steam generators, pneumatics, and 3 phase motors.\nProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals.\nExcellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.\nSolid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written.\nFlexible availability for the 2nd shift schedule (Monday to Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm) with additional Saturdays as needed.\nWillingness to work overtime as required, including the initial 1-2 months on the 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm) from Monday to Friday for training purposes.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nExperience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is desirable.\nWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
