Lab Technician - Metallurgy
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Multicircuits, a leader in the electronics industry,is seeking an individual to support our Quality Control Lab. This roleinvolves performing a variety of chemical tests and analyses on organicand inorganic materials to determine composition, structure, andchemical and physical properties, ensuring conformance to industry andcustomer specifications. The position also provides technical supportthrough both qualitative and quantitative analysis of manufacturingprocesses. Responsibilities include: Analyze chemical solutions todetermine the nature and proportion of substances Advise operators onproper process parameters based on product specifications and processconcentrations; prescribe chemical additions and bath changes asrequired Analyze cross-sections from various manufacturing processes toevaluate process quality Assist in resolving quality issues by providingqualitative and quantitative analysis of nonconforming products Recordtest results and maintain the laboratory analysis database Providetechnical support to waste treatment operations Follow proceduresaccurately and efficiently \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: College or technical degree in a related field orequivalent work experience desired. Must be organized, accurate,conscientious, dependable and a quick learner. Position requires strongmath skills, proficiency in computer software systems including MSOffice Suite, ability to learn proprietary software, solid verbal andwritten skills, good time management and attention to detail.Pre-employment physical and drug screen required.
