Senior Account Manager – TransportationWe are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Transportation team in the Midwest region. In this role you will ensure the successful delivery of insurance services to our transportation clients. Your responsibilities include creating and implementing customized service plans, building strong client relationships, understanding client needs, negotiating coverage, managing proposals and renewals, and engaging in strategic holistic planning.Qualifications5+ years of transportation insurance experience, ideally working with large trucking companies (150-500+ power units).Deep technical knowledge of Property & Casualty coverages related to the transportation industry, including workers' compensation and alternative risk programs such as captives, RRGs, and indemnity products.Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing deadlines.Analyzes the transportation insurance marketplace to develop and implement effective brokering strategies for transportation placements, while maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners and being highly motivated by winning new and renewal business.Builds and maintains an accurate, organized database of carrier partners, appetites, and program details, ensuring information is clearly documented and easy for the team to access.Self-starter with strong critical-thinking and a proactive approach to collaborating and building processes and tools that drive efficiency within the transportation practice.Ability to interpret complex documents, including insurance policies, applications, and proposals, while providing coverage analysis and risk-management recommendations.Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word, and agency management systems for completing applications, preparing submissions, and negotiating coverage and pricing.Preferred QualificationsBS/BA in Business, Insurance, or related field.CPCU, ARM, CISR, or other professional insurance designation related to Property & Casualty.Experience working with Applied Epic, an agency management system.Availability to travel for client meetings as needed.BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.Flexibility to work from home or office based on your discretion.Start with 20 days of paid time off.Paid day off for volunteer work and company-sponsored volunteer events.Up to $1,000 per year in matching charitable donations.Up to $750 per year in wellness rewards.CompensationThe applicable base salary range for this role is $92,400 to $172,100, with eligibility for performance-based incentives.EEO StatementMarsh McLennan and its affiliates are EOE Minority/Female/Disability/Vet/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity employers.J-18808-Ljbffr
