The position requires the employee to be on-site during the scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.Schedule:Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pmWhat do we want to know about you?\r\nHigh school diploma, equivalent, or equivalent work experience.\r\nAt least one year (1) of experience as a mechanical assembler or similar is preferred.\r\nKnowledge of standard tools, hand and power tools and their proper use.\r\nAbility to communicate effectively, demonstrate math and reading skills, work with minimal direction, and respond positively to feedback.What will your typical day look like?Read and interpret assembly drawings, process documentation, blueprints, and schematics to accurately assemble basic mechanical components, subassemblies, and final products according to detailed work instructions.\r\nInspect work completed to ensure compliance with established quality, engineering, and process standards, maintaining standard cycle time and process conformance.\r\nUtilize hand tools and pneumatic tools to assemble electro-mechanical products with minimal supervision.\r\nDetermine and follow methods and sequence of operations in performing assembly tasks such as wiring, component installation and cable harnessing.\r\nUtilize computer terminal, MRP system to make product transactions.\r\nComplete daily schedules based on productivity levels assigned by supervisor(s).\r\nDemonstrate commitment to workplace safety by wearing required PPE and maintaining a clean, organized work environment that adheres to 5S protocol standards.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned.What about the physical demands of the job?Employee is regularly required to talk and hear.\r\nEmployee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.\r\nEmployee is regularly required to walk throughout the day.\r\nEmployee is regularly required to see and observe small labels, and components.\r\nThe employee will work in a light manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to electric tools, occasional loud noises and possible exposure to fumes.Our job titles may span more than one career level.
