Controller / Comptroller (Onsite)

We're hiring: Controller / Comptroller – Naot USAHauppauge, NY (On-site, 5 days a week)We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Controller / Comptroller to join our team at Naot USA. This is an important role within our organization, working closely with leadership while also being part of a collaborative, supportive, and friendly team environment.Key Responsibilities• Oversee full-cycle accounting, including A/R, A/P, general ledger, and month-end close• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and internal reports• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners• Lead and support a small accounting and administrative team• Oversee payroll and assist with HR-related administrative functions• Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and global teams• Monitor inventory, cost of goods, and margin performanceQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience• Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls• Experience in wholesale, retail, or inventory-driven businesses preferred• ERP experience required (Priority ERP a plus)• Experience with Avalara or similar sales tax platforms a plus• Retail and multi-channel experience a plus• Familiarity with tariffs, duties, and import-related accounting a plus• Extensive Excel knowledge is a must• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership abilitiesAbout NaotNaot is a globally recognized footwear brand known for combining comfort, craftsmanship, and innovation.
