(Remote)\nClient : DC Governement\n\nJob Description :\nHP Exstream developer will be responsible for taking requirements from clients, working with clients in a cross-functional and technical environment and implementing their ideas.\n\nThe incumbent will ensure that related work is of high quality, defects free and adheres to industry standards for software deployment methodologies.\n\nThe incumbent will become an integral part of the DCAS Team working with all related teams working towards the overall goal of successful system implementation and management so as to provide efficient services to the citizens of the District of Columbia.\n\nThe Core duties associated with the role are as follows:\nPerforms design & development of applications on moderate to complex projects utilizing HP Exstream\n\nDesigner 9.x or lower.B10\n\nPerforms duties/knowledge with/of HP Exstream version upgrade 9.x or previous.\n\nPerforms duties/knowledge with/of HP Exstream Migration project 9.x or previous.\n\nWorks directly with clients to capture their requirements and subsequently work on implementing them into the system.\n\nServes as a communication liaison to bridge gaps and resolve/identify deficiencies in the system.\n\nMaintain the environment (DEV, TEST, UAT) and ensure best practices of code keeping is followed such as, source control, backups etc.\n\nInteracts daily with government clients in order to meet the technical requirements for new initiatives.\n\nWorks with Quality Assurance / Quality Control teams to ensure the application remains secure and defect free.\n\nDefines and documents processes to be used by all application developers on the team.\n\nPlans, researches, and recommends new equipment, software tools, and related technologies.\n\nUses monitoring and performance analysis tools to troubleshoot and isolate application performance issues.\n\nUpdates system and process documentation, produces user guides, diagrams, and SOPs as needed - Including Visio Network design drawings.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nCONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION\n\nResponsibilities:\n1. Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.\n2. Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products.\n3. Identifies best practices and standards for the use of the product.\n4. Delivers support and design for industry specific technologies that require integration with systems or networks.\n5. Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.\n6. Functions as a niche technical SME.\n7.
