If you're ready to lead large-scale project opportunities and shape the future of energy infrastructure, we invite you to join our dynamic team.\r\nThe position is remote/hybrid and we have flexibility on location for this role including Atlanta GA, Denver, CO, Raleigh NC, Houston TX, Baltimore MD, Hamilton NJ, Birmingham, AL, and Tampa, FL\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDevelop and execute strategic growth plans for key utility and energy clients.\r\nFoster long-term relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities across service lines.\r\nLead proposal development, contract negotiations, and client presentations.\r\nMentor staff and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation and safety.\r\nLead and/or support a cross-functional team to execute pipeline and facility projects.\r\nEnsure schedule, budget, and quality adherence across all phases of project execution.\r\nManage projects for schedule adherence identifying risks and requirements to successfully achieve a project's in-service date.\r\nNavigate projects through client gate approval processes including presentations to senior and executive management as required by each client.\r\nManage projects for financial adherence, maintaining an accurate cost forecast reflecting committed and uncommitted costs for an estimate-at-completion.\r\nProvide regular status updates on projects by maintaining project data and routine reporting as well as meeting updates for clients.\r\nLead project meetings with cost, schedule, environmental, engineering and construction resources to facilitate project execution.\r\nEnsure synergies across projects are incorporated into the portfolio of work to prevent scope from being duplicated or performed inefficiently.\r\nReview project change requests (scope, In-service date, etc.) and reconcile with the existing and long-range portfolio of work.\r\nCreate analyses & reports to assist the client in tracking, coordination, and execution of projects.\r\nSolicit client feedback and prepare action plans to enhance execution by teams participating in work on program.\r\nFacilitate internal and external communication on sales, revenue, and growth targets on program using oral and written platforms.\r\nDevelop engagement plans for visitations and with external organizations representing technical staff and Client organization.\r\nMonitor operational needs including contracts, professional licensure, and skill gaps and develop executable plans for remedying needs\r\nAuthor and deliver training sessions and build library of tools on key topics related to the Client and solicit colleagues to participate in this effort within the Program Team.\r\nSteward a Health and Safety culture through leadership and modeled behavior.\r\nServes as a Project Manager and/or Engineer of Record on key projects and pursuits.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program\r\n10+ years of direct pipeline design experience\r\n7+ years of experience in project management for an engineering consulting firm\r\nExcellent facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills\r\nAbility to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead and manage\r\nStrong planning and analytical skills\r\nMust demonstrate superb oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients\r\nDemonstrated success in project management which includes proposal development, contract negotiations, project planning, team leadership, budgeting, schedule management, and client coordination.\r\nProven ability to develop business and establish relationships with clients.\r\nTravel 15-25% depending on project assignment and client needs\r\nMove Forward with Kleinfelder\r\nKleinfelder has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
