Field Application Scientist (FAS) - Pluto C-Free PortfolioLocation: San Francisco, CARegional Coverage: Northwest U.S.About the RoleCuriox is seeking a Field Application Scientist (FAS) to support our Pluto C-Free portfolio. This role is ideal for a scientist who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer engagement and wants to play a key role in helping customers successfully adopt innovative cell processing and sample preparation solutions.The FAS will partner closely with customers, Sales, Field Service, and internal cross-functional teams to provide training, technical support, and application guidance. We are especially interested in candidates with strong flow cytometry expertise, including hands-on experience with antibody cocktailing, staining workflows, and sample preparation. Experience supporting clinical or medical center environments handling patient samples is highly valued.This is a regional role focused primarily on customers in the Northwest U.S. and limited Central US Coverage, with moderate travel required.What You'll DoCustomer Training and Technical SupportDeliver onsite and remote training for customers using the Pluto C-Free platformProvide technical support during installation, onboarding, and routine operationTroubleshoot customer questions and help ensure a successful user experienceAdvise customers on best practices for flow cytometry-related sample preparation and staining workflowsProduct Demonstrations and Applications SupportConduct product demonstrations for prospective and existing customersPartner with the Sales team to communicate the technical value of Pluto C-Free solutionsSupport customer applications involving flow cytometry, antibody staining optimization, and clinical sample workflowsGather customer feedback and communicate insights to internal teamsOperational and Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Field Service Engineers to support seamless customer handoffsAssist in developing SOPs, application notes, and technical documentationMaintain accurate records of customer interactions, trainings, and demo outcomesCollaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Customer Experience teams to share field insights and improve workflowsWhat We're Looking ForMaster's/ PHD degree in life sciences, biotechnology, immunology, or a related fieldStrong hands-on laboratory experience in life sciences applicationsFlow cytometry expertise strongly preferredExperience with antibody cocktailing, staining workflows, and sample preparationExperience in medical centers, hospital labs, or other clinical sample-handling environments is highly preferredStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearlyCustomer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independentlyWillingness to travel approximately 25-30%Preferred ExperiencePrior customer-facing, field applications, technical support, or scientific training experienceBackground in immunology, cell biology, or related application areasExperience supporting workflows involving clinical or translational research samplesKey CompetenciesTechnical expertise in flow cytometry and related life sciences applicationsKnowledge of antibody staining, cocktail preparation, and workflow optimizationStrong customer focus and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and collaboration across teamsAdaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentWhy Join Curiox
