Stock Management Specialist

We are looking for a Stock Management Specialist to define, optimize, and manage finished goods inventory across our global direct business network.This role is critical in ensuring product availability, traceability, and compliance within a highly regulated environment, particularly for implantable medical devices.You will play a key role in maintaining inventory integrity, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring full alignment with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and regulatory standards.🔎 Key Responsibilities📦 Inventory Management & OptimizationDefine, monitor, and optimize inventory levels across warehouses and consignment stockEstablish and manage min/max stock levels aligned with lead times and demandAnalyze stock movements (turnover, returns, product segmentation: runners, repeaters, strangers)Prevent overstocking, shortages, and obsolescence📊 Reporting, Systems & PerformanceMaintain accurate, audit-ready records in ERP/WMS systemsDevelop and track KPIs on inventory performance and compliancePrepare reports on stock levels, traceability accuracy, and expiry risksWork with IT to implement systems ensuring sustainable inventory control✅ Compliance & QualityEnsure compliance with regulatory standards (EU MDR, FDA, ISO 13485)Monitor expiration dates, quarantine stock, and non-conforming materialsInvestigate discrepancies (damages, deviations, traceability issues) with Quality teamsSupport audits, inspections, and regulatory requirementsContribute to product recalls and FSCAs by ensuring full traceability🤝 Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer ServiceAlign stock strategy with demand planning and market needsSupport country managers in optimizing stock availabilityDeliver training on inventory optimization and management🔄 Continuous ImprovementIdentify and implement improvements in inventory processesEnhance compliance, operational efficiency, and data integrity✅ Required Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, or related fieldProven experience in inventory/stock management within a regulated environment(medical devices, pharma, or healthcare preferred)Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (SAP or similar)Understanding of medical device regulations (EU MDR, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485)Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilitiesHigh attention to detail, especially regarding traceability dataStrong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionallyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment⭐ Preferred QualificationsExperience with implantable or high-risk medical devicesKnowledge of GDP/GMP standardsCertification (e.g., APICS CPIM)Experience with audits and regulatory inspectionsFamiliarity with UDI (Unique Device Identification) systems💡 Key CompetenciesRegulatory awareness & compliance mindsetPrecision and data integrityRisk management and accountabilityStrong collaboration and stakeholder managementContinuous improvement orientationBusiness and financial understanding🏢 Working ConditionsOffice-based role with close interaction across Supply Chain and Quality teamsParticipation in audits and inspectionsOccasional travel to distribution centers or manufacturing sites🌟 Why Join Us?Be part of a highly regulated and impactful industryWork within a global, cross-functional organisationContribute to patient safety and product qualityOpportunity to drive process improvements and operational excellence
