You will build React interfaces, backend APIs, reports, session and authentication integrations, citations, and user workflows while solving issues across the application stack.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop responsive, accessible React interfaces for the client's Greenfield AI Solution capabilities within the the client's enterprise search platform platform.\nBuild and integrate backend APIs that support reports, sessions, authentication, user workflows, and application state.\nCreate clear experiences for summaries, findings, supporting citations, and navigation back to source documents.\nDesign data-heavy interfaces that help users review results without obscuring uncertainty or source provenance.\nCollaborate with AI/backend and data engineers on API contracts, error handling, performance, and integration testing.\nReuse appropriate the client's enterprise search platform and enterprise-data-platform capabilities instead of duplicating existing functionality.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, backend, authentication, and integration layers.\nImprove cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, responsiveness, and application performance.\nParticipate in code reviews, automated testing, technical documentation, and iterative user-feedback cycles.\n\nThe Skills We are Looking For\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nStrong experience with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript development.\nExperience integrating user interfaces with RESTful backend APIs.\nAbility to contribute to Python or comparable backend services when needed.\nExperience building data-heavy web applications, reports, or workflow-driven interfaces.\nUnderstanding of responsive design, accessibility, session management, and authentication integration.\nStrong debugging, testing, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.\nAbility to work flexibly across the application stack within an established product team.\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nExperience presenting citations, provenance, or linked source material in an application.\nFamiliarity with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI.\nExperience with data grids, document viewers, reporting interfaces, or spreadsheet-like components.\nExperience supporting federal, regulated, or security-conscious applications.\n\nThe Expectations of the Job\n\nDay One\n\nLearn Aretec's mission, the client's Greenfield AI Solution workflows, the client's enterprise search platform design patterns, existing APIs, and the source-reference capabilities available through the enterprise-data-platform.\nSet up the development environment and build relationships across the integrated the client's enterprise search platform team.\n\nDay Thirty\n\nContribute to priority React and API work, including an initial user workflow or interface enhancement.\nAdd appropriate frontend and integration tests.\n\nDay Sixty\n\nOwn a substantial UI-to-API workflow, including session, reporting, citation, or authentication behavior.\nUse stakeholder feedback to improve usability, accessibility, performance, and source transparency.\n\nDay Ninety\n\nTake full ownership of key the client's Greenfield AI Solution full-stack initiatives from design through validated delivery.\nIdentify reusable UI patterns and process improvements, and mentor teammates through reviews and collaborative problem-solving.\n\nBenefits\n\nAt Aretec, we believe that our employees are our greatest asset.
