Engineer 2","description":"Description:\nThe Electrical Engineer 2 is responsible for contributing to the electrical design, development, and calculations of assigned manufacturing projects related to relay panels, control buildings, and medium voltage switchgears.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nReview customer specifications to create drawings and bill of materials for assigned projects within budget, including the selection of parts\nDesign single line diagrams, schematic and wiring diagrams for power distribution, including network diagrams for communication and automation.\nDesign and perform load calculations for power distribution systems.\nWork with Purchasing and Vendors to receive quotes and lead times to complete design.\nProvide engineering support to production departments during all stages of manufacturing.\nCoordinate with customers regarding specification/design questions and clarifications.\nWork with Lead Engineer and assist with other project tasks.\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nRequirements:\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent budgeting and cost containment skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work well in a cross-functional team environment\nStrong knowledge of standard electrical testing and measuring equipment.\nExcellent understanding of Electrical Safety Procedures, NEC and IEEE Codes.\nExperience and knowledge with computers and MS office programs.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or related software.\nExperience/Education:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.\nAt least 2-4 years of related work experience in electrical power systems.\nMEP Design experience a plus.\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.\nMust be able to traverse the production floor as needed.","company":"Crown Technical Systems","rawCompany":"crown
