This position is required to cooperate with other cross-functional departments to ensure and maintain part quality, proper procedure execution, a safe and productive work environment, and culture standards.\n\nThis job description lists major areas of responsibility and additional job activities may be added at any time.\n\nShift Hours:\n\n3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am -> must be able to train on 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm for the first few weeks.\n\nYou'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:\n\nFollow all safety policies and practice 6S standards to maintain a safe and clean working environment for all employees.\n\nIdentify and escalate potential safety risks on the floor.\n\nOperate numerous types of equipment, independently or in a team environment, per the work instructions.\n\nUtilize electronic devices (computer, iPad, etc.) daily to reference work instructions, control plans, visual criteria, in-process quality checks, and accurately log production numbers.\n\nPerform repetitive tasks as needed and maintain production pace and quality standards as specified by the applicable documentation to meet process metrics such as delivery, efficiency, and quality.\n\nRecognize and react to problems with equipment, escalate as required.\n\nClose attention to detail concerning product quality through utilizing visual criteria and escalate issues to appropriate personnel.\n\nUse fixtures, jigs, and hand tools as necessary to ensure proper position and/or movement of components and parts.\n\nAbility to work on a raised platform, safely\n\nWork with Machine Set Up Technician to resolve problems with equipment.\n\nClean equipment as required to ensure proper operation.\n\nConduct Autonomous Maintenance tasks as prescribed.\n\nPlace processed parts into containers and palletize per the work instruction and at specified quantities per the part tag.\n\nOther duties and projects as determined by business and production needs.\n\nThe TOOLS you'll bring with you:\n\nHigh school diploma, or equivalent, preferred\n\nDisplay great attention to detail\n\n0-1 years of machine operation experience\n\nUnderstand and follow verbal and written instructions\n\nBasic math skills\n\nBasic mechanical skills\n\nBasic computer skills\n\nAbility to read and understand provided work instructions\n\nWe provide these great perks and benefits:\n\nRobust health, dental and vision insurance plans\n\nGenerous 401 (K) savings plan\n\nEducation assistance\n\nOn-site food and coffee service\n\nAnd many more, check out our benefits site HERE.\n\nMilwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.\n\nCategories\nMilwaukee Tool\nAbout Us\nMilwaukee Tool, founded in 1924, is a global leader in delivering innovative solutions to the professional construction trades that increase productivity and safety.
