Location: Grand Junction, 81504Pay Rate: $20.00 per hourEmployment Type: Full-TimeSchedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AMPosition OverviewCitadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to support patient transportation operations within a healthcare setting. This position involves transporting patients between medical facilities while helping maintain a secure, respectful, and professional environment throughout each assignment.This role is well-suited for individuals who are dependable, comfortable driving for extended periods, and able to interact professionally with patients, nurses, and healthcare personnel.Key ResponsibilitiesTransport patients between hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities as scheduled Assist patients entering and exiting transport vehicles in a safe and respectful manner Maintain awareness during transport assignments to help ensure patient and driver safety Follow transportation procedures, safety regulations, and company guidelines Communicate effectively with dispatch, site contacts, and healthcare staff Complete transport logs, activity reports, and incident documentation accurately Operate company vehicles responsibly and always comply with traffic laws Maintain a professional appearance and conduct during all interactions Minimum QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to pass background screening and company hiring requirements Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including daytime and overnight schedules Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable attendance and ability to work independently Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in healthcare transportation, security, or related roles Familiarity with long-distance driving and defensive driving practices Ability to stay calm and attentive in patient-focused environments Training & Additional InformationPaid training provided before assignment begins Background check and driving history must meet company standards Position requires routine travel between healthcare facilities Ongoing operational support provided by supervisors and dispatch Work EnvironmentCombination of driving responsibilities and on-site assistance at healthcare locations Frequent interaction with patients, medical staff, and facility personnel Extended periods of driving with occasional walking and patient assistance duties Equal Opportunity EmployerCitadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
