SummaryThe Safety Programs Coordinator supports the development, maintenance, and implementation of workplace safety programs and systems. This role is highly execution-focused and detail-oriented, responsible for managing safety documentation, software administration, training records, and program lifecycle activities. The Coordinator ensures accuracy, organization, and follow-through across safety initiatives while partnering with leadership and internal teams.Core ResponsibilitiesSafety Program Support & MaintenanceAssist in the development, review, revision, and maintenance of safety programs, procedures, and policiesMaintain organized program documentation, version control, and change trackingMonitor program review schedules, action items, and updatesSupport cross-functional collaboration when safety changes impact operations, HR, or project teamsSafety Software AdministrationBuild, edit, and maintain safety management system forms, workflows, notifications, dashboards, and databasesMaintain records including employee information, project data, SDSs, toolbox talks, and training resourcesSupport software implementation, configuration, and ongoing process improvementsProvide user support, training guidance, and basic troubleshootingTraining Records & Compliance SupportMaintain training records and verify certification accuracy (OSHA, CPR, safety certifications, etc.)Log training activities, issue certificates, and distribute records as neededRun audits and reports to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and maintain compliance trackingPartner with training teams to ensure system accuracy and documentation complianceAdministrative & Process SupportDevelop schedules, task lists, and tracking tools for program maintenanceCoordinate and participate in meetings related to safety program updatesAssist with improving internal processes, systems, and operational workflowsRequired QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in team environmentsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Technical writing and document control experienceEducation & ExperiencePrior experience in safety administration, compliance, operations support, or related environments preferredFamiliarity with safety programs, policies, procedures, and compliance documentation preferredExperience with safety management software or similar systems preferredCollege degree preferred but not required
