Automotive Parts Manager

Job Description Extension is seeking a Parts Manager for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Rockford, IL ! Overview: We are seeking a Parts Manager to lead our branch parts department, driving profitable growth while ensuring exceptional customer service and optimized inventory management. This role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and collaboration with service teams to meet business goals. Key Responsibilities: * Manage parts team performance through hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling * Drive profitable parts growth while enforcing pricing, discount, and margin policies * Oversee inventory health, repair order accuracy, and timely financial administration * Resolve customer and internal escalations with proper documentation and follow-up * Partner with service leadership to optimize parts availability, backorders, and technician support Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant industry experience preferred * 3+ years of truck/automotive dealership experience * Strong leadership and people management skills * Solid customer service and relationship-building experience * Knowledge of medium and heavy-duty truck parts with problem-solving ability under pressure Salary & Schedule: * Onsite in Rockford, IL * Monday-Friday 1st shift * Up to $90,000 annually plus bonus
