Operating out of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, Youth Tech Inc. offers a range of beginner to advanced courses designed to equip students with cutting-edge technology skills. The organization continuously evaluates its programs to stay aligned with the latest trends and collaborates with institutions to ensure campers gain a competitive edge in technology education. Role Description The Computer Camp Instructor (Summer 2026) will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive technology-focused lessons to students of various age groups in an on-site setting in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. This is a contract role that involves leading small group sessions, facilitating hands-on activities, assisting students in achieving their learning goals, and ensuring a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment. The instructor will also collaborate with Youth Tech Inc.'s team to implement pre-designed curriculum while adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of students. Qualifications Experience working in camp settings, education, and with children in a teaching or instructional capacitySkills in curriculum development and delivering technology or computer-focused educational programsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, parents, and team membersAbility to create an engaging, inclusive, and safe learning environment for school-aged participantsStrong passion for technology and staying updated with emerging trends in the fieldExperience or certification in education, computer science, or a related field is preferredDemonstrated ability to manage groups and foster a positive team-oriented environment
