Due to the daily driving tasks and other assigned duties, this position is required to work in person on-site.Core Value Expectations· Actively pursue high character, high trust, and high performance personally, corporately, and in all aspects of the position.· Provide distinctive quality and unparalleled customer service both internally and externally.· Demonstrate and promote integrity, respect, and teamwork.· Invite others to help you grow through living authentically with nothing to prove, lose, or hide.· Evidence humility by actively receiving teaching and mentoring.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain regular and predictable attendance and report to work as scheduledSome overnight travel requiredProvide excellent customer service and reflect our company's core values at all timesDrive vehicles to transport materials to and from specified destinations and adhere to all jobsite-specific instructions communicatedMaintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition and DOT compliantConduct Daily Inspections, including pre- and post-trip inspections; making fluid level, air pressure, mechanical, and all other adjustments required based on inspection resultsPerform emergency repairs such as installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chainsReport on any mechanical problems encountered with any equipment usedLoad and unload trucks, move materials within yard or work site, or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or by yard truckResponsible for installation of strapping, bracing, or padding to materials, including placement and tightening of restraints before departure to prevent shifting or damage in transitLoad, transport, unload QSI equipment and complete company documentationTake photographs of all deliveries, pickups, and upload them to company softwareUse of phone and tablet-based company applications and softwareObey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation proceduresRead maps, follow written/verbal geographic directions by taking the most direct route to and from destination while avoiding unnecessary stopsReport delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the Logistics ManagerMaintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulationsExhibit a positive and professional dispositionPerform other duties as assignedComplies with QSI policies and proceduresThis job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
