The candidate should be comfortable working in complex enterprise environments with high-volume transactional systems and business-critical applications.\nRole Overview\nThe Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting Oracle database solutions. The role requires hands-on experience with complex PL/SQL programming, SQL performance optimization, database objects, batch processing, data integration, and production troubleshooting.\nThe successful candidate will contribute to application modernization, database migration, data integration, and cloud transformation initiatives while ensuring strong performance, data integrity, security, and maintainability.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, collections, and database objects.\nDevelop complex and highly optimized SQL queries for large-volume transactional and enterprise databases.\nAnalyze SQL execution plans and identify opportunities for query and database performance optimization.\nDesign and implement appropriate indexing, partitioning, materialized views, and other Oracle performance-tuning strategies.\nDevelop database solutions supporting enterprise applications, APIs, reporting platforms, and data integration processes.\nBuild and maintain ETL processes, batch jobs, database jobs, and automated data processing workflows.\nDevelop database scripts for data migration, transformation, reconciliation, and system integration.\nTroubleshoot complex production issues involving SQL, PL/SQL, data integrity, performance, and application/database interactions.\nCollaborate with Java and other application development teams to design efficient database access patterns and integration solutions.\nWork with DBAs and architects to support database architecture, capacity, performance, availability, and scalability requirements.\nParticipate in database code reviews and establish development standards and best practices.\nDevelop and maintain database deployment scripts using Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.\nSupport application and database modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy/on-premises environments to cloud platforms.\nPerform root-cause analysis for production defects and implement permanent corrective solutions.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, Skills\n6+ years of professional experience in Oracle PL/SQL development in enterprise environments.\nStrong hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, including:\nPackages\nStored procedures\nFunctions\nCursors\nTriggers\nCollections\nException handling\nDynamic SQL\nAdvanced SQL development skills, including complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, analytical/window functions, aggregations, and query optimization.\nStrong experience with Oracle Database 12c, 19c, or newer.\nHands-on experience with Oracle database performance tuning and troubleshooting.\nStrong understanding of:\nIndexing\nPartitioning\nMaterialized views\nExecution plans\nOptimizer statistics\nDatabase locking and concurrency\nExperience supporting high-volume OLTP and enterprise database
