This role will work with key business partners across the organization to understand business problems and translate them into automated processes and functional data resources.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nCreate and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.\nAssemble large, complex data sets that meet functional requirements.\nIdentify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.\nBuild the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL.\nCreate Power Platform objects for data insert and data consumption.\nBuild analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.\nWork with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.\nKeep our data separated and secure across boundaries through multiple databases, servers, data centers, and Azure regions.\nCreate data tools for analytics and support the data architect.\nBuild processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.\n\nRequirements:\n\n5+ years in Data Engineer or similar role\nA Bachelor’s Degree in CS, Information Systems, a related field or equivalent work experience\nAdvanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.\nExperience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.\nStrong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\nExperience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.\nExperience with Power BI, Power Automate and Power Platform tools.\n\nPhysical Demands and Working Environment:\n\nThe conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
