This position is responsible for ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently while supporting food safety, employee safety, and product quality.\n\nResponsibilities\nPerform preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on production equipment.\nTroubleshoot mechanical equipment to minimize production downtime.\nFollow all GMP, sanitation, food safety, and company procedures.\nEnsure equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized before returning it to production.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.\nCommunicate equipment status and repair progress with production supervisors.\nRequest parts, supplies, and technical support as needed.\nAssist with preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.\nTrain and assist production employees on proper equipment operation.\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures.\nQualifications\nPrevious maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferred.\nStrong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.\nAbility to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nWillingness to travel for training when required.\nAbout Openwork\nOpenwork is a talent-first staffing company with over 50 years of industry experience.
