{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"597309c4c3bab52fd4146708","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/597309c4c3bab52fd4146708","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/597309c4c3bab52fd4146708","title":"Sr. Systems Engineer","description":"Overview Job#: 2085789\nSr. Systems Engineer (Contractor) – 6-12 Months\nReports To: Manager – Identity Platforms\nLocation: Pittsburgh\nOffice Schedule: Would like this person to come in at least one day a week.\nCompany: Apex Systems\nJob Description: Senior Systems Engineer (Identity Platforms)\nPosition Summary Responsible for engineering, implementing, deploying, and supporting identity platform infrastructure services.\nResponsibilities Design and engineer infrastructure services (Active Directory, messaging, SSO, IAM, automation).\nMaintain documentation: standards, configurations, service catalogs, roadmaps.\nStay current with technology trends and evaluate new opportunities.\nScale services and technologies to meet global business demand.\nProvide high-quality support to internal IT and business units.\nDevelop and maintain performance reporting and technical documentation.\nParticipate in disaster recovery planning.\nCommunicate technical topics across engineering, management, and business levels.\nHandle additional duties and projects as assigned.\nQualifications Bachelor’s in IT or equivalent technical background.\n4+ years of experience with large-scale Active Directory infrastructure.\nExpertise in: AD administration; multi-forest environments; DNS, DHCP, GPO, Sites & Services; disaster recovery for AD; Microsoft KMS, RDP Terminal Services; domain controller maintenance/upgrades; PKI concepts and implementation.\nPreferred experience: Azure AD; Google Workspace; ADFS / SSO (SAML / OIDC); PowerShell scripting and automation.\nStrong risk assessment, incident/problem evaluation, and root cause analysis.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nEmployment Type & Location Contractor; 6-12 months.
