In addition, you will prepare, issue and submit documents necessary to complete the shipping process and provide clients with advice concerning terms of delivery. The position will be in our San Francisco DHL Global Forwarding facility.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordination between all applicable parties for domestic, export & import shipments while ensuring service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with client and company objectives.\nPrepare, issue and submit documents necessary to complete the shipping process and provide clients with advice concerning terms of delivery, payment, insurance and all other freight services.\nEnsure that invoices for the services rendered are completed accurately and, in a timeframe, consistent with company policy.\nTracking, tracing and document imaging functions.\nCustomer service and updating of customer profiles.\nData entry utilizing many software systems\n\nSkills / Requirements:\nUS Citizen - Mandatory\n1-5 years in International Logistics\nExperience is Air Freight and Ocean Freight Services\nDefense Counterintelligence Security Agency T3 Clearance (DCSA) preferred but will need to go through application process once hired.\nGovernment contracts and ITAR experience required\nProven track record in customer service\nExceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentations)\nProficient computer skills: Microsoft (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook, Teams)\nKnowledge of Cargo Wise system is plus\n\nPay Range: $28.64 - $38.19 / hour (commensurate with experience)\n\nBenefits (All Non-Union Employees)\nCompensation: Competitive base salary plus role dependent performance-based incentives.\n401(k) Match: $1-for-$1 match up to 4% quarterly + 2% annual base contribution.\nStock Purchase Plan: Ability to purchase Deutsche Post AG shares at a discounted rate.\nMedical: Comprehensive plans covering preventive care, inpatient/outpatient services, and prescriptions.\nVision: Optional coverage for exams, frames, and contacts.\nDental: Optional coverage for preventive, basic, and major services.\nPaid Time Off: 7 major holidays, 8 floating holidays, and accrued vacation/sick days.\n\nWhy Join DHL Global Forwarding?\nAt DHL Global Forwarding, we invest in our employees’ growth, providing training, guidance, and career advancement opportunities.
