In-depth training may be required to prepare a Machine Operator for their daily duties. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nAbility to start and stop the machine safely without supervision.\nAbility to place unfinished parts and remove finished parts from machine safely.\nMonitor machine operation.\nCheck part quality with designated measurement instruments. Understand when and how to stop machine safely.\nAssist in the maintenance, and repair of machinery.\nOperate tools and machinery to aid the manufacturing process.\nPerform periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.\nOversee the machine while executing tasks and make necessary adjustments to improve results.\nProduce quality parts according to manufacturing targets and schedules as directed by the Plant Manager.\nRecord all machine actions and log completed parts for record keeping.\nAssume responsibility for ensuring the duties of this position are performed in a safe and efficient manner.\nKeep a clean and orderly work area.\nPerform other duties that may be assigned by the Plant Manager.\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be willing to learn and improve to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.\nHigh school diploma or GED required.
