Apply now!\n\nMaterial Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation\nTransport materials to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment\nPick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment\nMaintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software\nPerform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits\nEnsure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss\nFollow all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policies\nCollaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support workflow efficiency\nKeep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar workplace standards\n\nMaterial Handler Requirements:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nPrevious warehouse or material handling experience preferred\nForklift certification or willingness to obtain certification\nBasic computer skills for inventory tracking systems\nAbility to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods\nExperience in a manufacturing environment preferred\nFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices preferred\nStrong communication and teamwork skills preferred\n\nQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
