Penske is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician to perform minor and major truck and trailer collision repairs using advanced diagnostic tools and industry-leading repair techniques. 6 years of body shop or collision repair experience (or equivalent education experience) ​ This role involves hands-on work with modern vehicle systems and offers ongoing training, career growth, and long-term stability. Benefits Earn $72,280 Annually Competitive salary and performance incentives Career stability and advancement opportunities Paid time off and comprehensive benefits Access to advanced vehicle repair technology Ongoing training programs (including I-CAR Gold standards) Key Responsibilities Perform truck and trailer collision repair and maintenance , including: Cab and sheet metal repair Fiberglass and composite repair Welding and fabrication Frame straightening and alignment Suspension repair and alignment Box repair and replacement Electrical, brake, cooling, and AC systems repair Surface preparation, painting, mixing, tinting, and blending Diagnose damage and identify required parts for repairs Document and track warrantable repairs Maintain a safe and organized work environment road testing Conduct when required Complete work efficiently with minimal supervision Support additional shop tasks as assigned Qualifications 6 years of body shop or collision repair experience (or equivalent education experience) High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) Proven expertise in truck and trailer repair/refinishing Skilled in using: Welding and fabrication tools Paint systems and shop equipment Power tools and diagnostic equipment Valid driver’s license Basic computer skills Compliance & Requirements Ability to follow DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety standards Maintain required Driver Qualification File , including: Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks DOT physical exam Safety performance history DOT drug screening CDL holders must complete and FMCSA Clearinghouse review Willingness to: Pass background check and drug screening Travel as needed Maintain regular attendance Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting Ability to lift: Up to 50 lbs regularly Up to 100 lbs occasionally Safely operate in shop and outdoor conditions Work at heights using ladders or platforms Maintain awareness in environments with moving vehicles
