The is a mid-level position in project management. Assigned projects are typically more complex in nature, scope and volume\nWork Environment: Onsite, Saline MI, M-F with some occasional remote work on Fridays. Additionally, training will be at our Rochester Hills site, everyday for up to a month and then once a week.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and follow project plans, (scope of work, budget and timing), ensure milestones are achieved, and convey summary project status reports to leadership\nServes as primary point of contact for assigned customers/projects.\nManages all critical program dates as they pertain to Timing, Cost and Quality.\nCreate and maintain project budget and material costs spend profiles\nEnsure that the organization follows the appropriate project management process and that all documentation relating the project is correctly managed\nAssess project deadlines by continually monitoring individual progress\nEvaluate project results including confirmation of project deliverables and coordinate lessons learned.\nMaintain or help create all critical Customer Specific Requirements (CSR’s)\nSupport Sales in development of “JOB” quotations by providing actual costs when requested.\nFollows all safety guidelines including utilization of proper PPE.\nKeeps work area clean and organized to insure safety and environmental compliance and in accordance to our Lean culture.\nTrains and adheres to departmental & Company standard operating procedures; including safety guidelines & PPE requirements.\nModels & promotes positive professional relations and teamwork within the organization.\nDirect implementation teams to successful project completion including acting as the key liaison among all involved sites, functions, and vendors; this may include multiple cross-continental locations\nMaintain integral systems and databases.\nTravel to customer sites as required.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nCritical Competencies for Success:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point presentation software, and MS Project management software.\nExperience within the systems or machine building industry.\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University. OR Seven to ten years relevant industry experience\n5+ years project management experience including documented successful completion of cross-discipline projects valued over $7 million in total cost\nExperience within the assembly line, assembly cell, robotic systems, or machine building industry required.\nA demonstrated track record of delivering projects to an agreed plan, budget and specification.\nKnowledgeable in ISO, Process Flows, and Control Plans\nProblem solving, time management, and prioritization; excellent awareness of business and finance\nInspiring degree of initiative and drive, including a dynamic personality with the ability to influence others\nDemonstrated exceptional presentation ability, including written and oral, to all levels of management\nVisualization, innovation, initiative, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work in a team environment\nPay range: $95-$105k\nWithin this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements.
