You will work closely with senior data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business partners to turn data into actionable insights and deploy models into production.\nResponsibilities:\nContribute to end-to-end data science projects that improve product performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency, applying your strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nTranslate business questions into analytical approaches with clear metrics and success criteria,\nDevelop, test, and validate machine learning models and statistical analyses under guidance from senior team members\nPartner with engineering and product teams to support deployment of models and analytics into production systems\nApply best practices in data cleaning, feature engineering, model evaluation, and documentation\nCommunicate findings, insights, and technical concepts clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders\nContinuously learn and apply new data science and machine learning techniques relevant to Lutron’s products and business\nQualifications:\nGraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field\nMinimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned\n4+ years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning\nProficiency in Python or R, with working knowledge of SQL\nFamiliarity with common machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis\nExperience using ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience deploying models into production environments\nExposure to cloud services from AWS, Azure, or similar providers\nExperience working with IoT or sensor data\nFamiliarity with Agile development practices\n\nStarting pay: $120,000 - $135,000 per year; Lutron's employee benefits include 401k match, health, dental, and life insurance, paid vacation (amount based on tenure with the company), flexible spending accounts, and tuition reimbursement programs. \"\n\nLutron Electronics’ position as the worldwide leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions has enabled consistent, annual growth.
