This includes reviewing regulations and assessing their impact on our systems and markets, planning and executing tests, preparing documentation to verify compliance when needed, and conducting product tests when necessary in collaboration with external research institutions. This role supports the company’s ability to respond effectively to regulatory changes and maintain product reliability and compliance in the marine safety industry.\nPRIMARY DUTIES Review and initiate product development based on updates to IMO regulations or specific client requirements.\nVerify the performance of systems and products through testing when required.\nPerform hands‑on tasks during testing, including installation and removal of piping and equipment, as well as operating systems to confirm functionality and performance.\nPrepare standard manufacturing drawings following product development and maintain them in their latest version.\nManage the test budget and oversee the execution of product testing during projects and follow up to ensure the issuance of test reports.\nEDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Advanced or proficient level of English for technical communication\nExperience with type approval of systems\nKnowledge of fire‑fighting systems, related regulations, approval procedures, and test facility construction\nPractical skills in fire testing and fire‑fighting performance evaluation of main components\nExperience in designing and operating test facilities and equipment\nUnderstanding of mechanical products and hands‑on assembly experience\nExperience in development work related to industrial equipment or systems\nAbility to design electrical logic and work with PLC systems\nExperience with fluid analysis tools such as CAE or CFD\nProficiency in AutoCAD\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field\nMore than 5 years of experience in a fire‑related or industrial equipment company\nCertified craftsman gas\nThis job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent.
