Our work depends on TS/SCI cleared Systems Administrator joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.\nHOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\nAs a System Administrator (Desktop Support), you will be responsible for providing excellent technical support to end-users, maintaining desktop systems, and ensuring the reliable operation of computer systems. You will work closely with both on-site and remote users to resolve issues, coordinate upgrades, and provide hands-on support for desktop environments.\nIn this role, a typical day will include:\nIndependently develops technical solution for the management for software, hardware, configurations, and architecture. Provides interpretation to Systems matters that are moderately complex in nature.\nProvide troubleshooting support for systems hardware and software issues that are highly complex.\nPerforms advance software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.\nApplies advanced knowledge in monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance levels.\nProvides guidance to less experienced personnel on workstation/server data integrity matters and the implantation of standard software and hardware solutions.\nLeads complex data/media recoverability following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.\nEvaluates and assesses existing systems and plans long term strategies.\nConfigure and maintain networked computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications\nConducts advanced to complex hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configurations guidelines.\nRecognized subject matter expert in job area typically through advanced education and work experience. Established operational plans. Manages large projects with limited oversight form manager.\nStrong written and verbal communication is imperative when dealing with technically minded employees and non-technical colleagues\nTrain end-users on the proper use of hardware and software. May training large groups of end users.\nMay coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.\nMay serve as a team or task leader (Not a people manager)\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nKnowledge in one or more of the following areas:\nThin Client using Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Technology\nExperience and/or knowledgeable with: Windows 11; Windows 10; Citrix; SMS; and SCCM\nEnd User Hardware\nThin Client, Thick Monitors, KVM's, Printers, Plotters Print Server Configurations, VOIP phone,\nDesktop Image Management\nHome Directory and Profile Support Services\nE-mail Support Services\nSoftware Support Services\nExperience and/or knowledgeable with; Windows 7; Windows 10; Win11 Citrix; SMS; and SCCM\nExcellent troubleshooting capabilities\nStrong communication skills\nStrong work ethic and attention to detail\nStrong writing skills (consistently document work completed)\nStrong time management skills and ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements\nAbility to move and lift computers, printers, monitors, and other hardware\nTeam player and willing to share knowledge and learn from others to ensure team's success\nEnthusiasm and ability to adapt to new and changing technologies\nEducation/Experience Requirement:\nBA/BS (or equivalent experience)\n5+ years of experience\nCertifications:\nSecurity+ or CASP\nITIL v4 Foundations\nAdditional Information\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nCompensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position.
