Some of the most common industries we serve include medical, firearms and munitions, aerospace, additive manufacturing, and industrial equipment.\r\nPosition Description:\r\nMass Finishing Inc is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Machine Assembler to join our team. The primary function of the Mechanical Machine Assembler is to perform assembly of finishing machine equipment. You will assemble the frame and turrets of the individual models of machines using hand tools and following engineering drawings and schematics as well as written and verbal instructions. Will operate a forklift for material and product movement.\r\nEssential Functions:\r\nUtilize hand tools, power tools and hardware to assemble standard and engineered products to manufacturer specifications and quality standards with the aid of supervision or trainers.\r\nPerform job set-up by obtaining necessary/required parts, drawings, and schematics. Check for correctness of parts by referencing the bill of material. Read and interpret drawings and schematics.\r\nCommunicate with engineers, designers, and technicians to resolve assembly discrepancies.\r\nPerform ongoing inspection of product during assembly process and prior to products shipment.\r\nLift and position assemblies. Operate Forklift for material and product movement.\r\nMaintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.\r\nSet-up and perform Assembly Department operations with minimum supervision.\r\nFamiliar with mechanical components.\r\nThorough understanding of part prints (tolerances, symbols, etc.).\r\nPerform checks for quality of parts and adjust as required.\r\nPrepare machinery for shipment using crating lumber and tools\r\nMinimal welding with MIG/TIG Welder\r\nField Service Work may be required. Includes a drug screen\r\nApplicable training will be completed by following the Assembly Training Matrix. Effectiveness of assembly training guidelines will be determined by employee knowledge and demonstration of learned concepts. Additional training after the first several weeks of on-the-job training will be determined by the Supervisor in preparation to operate on their own as needed.
