We are looking for board members who are ready to play a vital role in ensuring the organization's growth and sustainability, aligning with DIFFvelopment's strategic mission and vision. We are scaling our impact and seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors in shaping the future of our organization. To learn more about DIFFvelopment, review our: 2023 Annual Report, Q3 Impact Report, Special Impact Report Vol 1., and Corporate Deck. Key Board Member Expectations: One of the key attributes we are seeking in new board members is the ability to leverage existing networks within charitable communities, foundations, and/or corporations. We are looking for board members who will tap into these connections to secure financial support for DIFFvelopment's continued success and expansion. Each board member is expected to raise or contribute a minimum of $25,000 annually through personal giving and strategic outreach.Qualifications:Extensive experience in nonprofit board leadership, governance, and fundraising.Strong network of connections in charitable communities, foundations, or corporations with a successful history of securing charitable funding.Passion for DIFFvelopment’s mission and a commitment to radical Black empowerment. Experience in developing strategic relationships and acting as a spokesperson or ambassador for organizations.Willingness to dedicate time and effort to DIFFvelopment’s success and growth.Board Member Support - DIFFvelopment will:Provide management liability insurance.Offer transparent and direct responses to any inquiries necessary for fulfilling your responsibilities.Share regular updates on programs, goals, and financial status to ensure informed decision-making.Provide the necessary resources and information for you to execute your duties effectively.Open DIFFvelopment Board Seats to Apply ForIf you are ready to use your connections, expertise, and passion to support a vital cause, we would love to hear from you.
