The Lead SE will be a subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of project engineering and management. They will manage large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction on and off-site. Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches. Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results. The Lead SE will be responsible for a team of engineers during off-site installations.\r\nEssential Functions\r\nPrepare and present technical results for internal and external program meetings.\r\nDocument and support design verification tests within lab, ground and flight test environments.\r\nDevelop, track and present technical metrics.\r\nEvaluate requirements definition, flow-down and traceability.\r\nAnalyze data from verification test efforts.\r\nGenerate and maintain schedule for engineering activities.\r\nMaintain risk assessment and development of mitigation strategies.\r\nWork closely with Project Engineering and Program Management.\r\nSupport training and development of new team members.\r\nResponsible for managing engineering team during travel to offsite facilities for integration.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.\r\nGraduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.\r\nIn lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.\r\nMust be able to obtain/maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.\r\nDemonstrated experience with communications and presentations to internal/external stakeholders at all levels.\r\nDemonstrated ability to read & interpret technical specifications, engineering blueprints, test procedures, and technical publications.\r\nDemonstrated experience with testing, integrating, and verifying software and/or hardware.\r\nDemonstrated experience with MS Office suite, Visio, Teamcenter, DOORS, etc.\r\nDemonstrated experience working successfully both independently and in a team environment with the ability to lead technical teams through an entire annual sustainment cycle.\r\nAbility to travel domestically ~10%, or more, based on business needs.\r\nPreferred Additional Skills\r\nDemonstrated experience leading projects and or task teams in the integration of systems and or subsystems in airborne and or lab environments.\r\nDemonstrated experience creating system drawings, schematics and or signal interfaces.\r\nCurrent Security+ Certification.\r\nAirborne and or operational experience with Mission Communications Systems offboard radios or network communications.\r\nDemonstrated experience working with subcontractors and US Government customers.\r\nDemonstrated knowledge of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and implementation of systems that achieved an Authorization to Operate (ATO) on government networks DODAF.\r\nDemonstrated experience working government and/or military program effort bidding process.\r\nLI-AM2\r\nL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
