You will be involved in New Product Introduction and Continuous Improvement of existing products. You will strive to leverage new technology, advanced cutting techniques, and a host of LEAN manufacturing methods to improve quality and reduce cycle times and costs.Key Responsibilities\r\nUse solid models and detailed prints from Creo or Mastercam to develop work holding and tooling.\r\nWrite CNC programs using the latest version of Mastercam.\r\nProve out programs and ensure that they are production ready.\r\nSupport execution of OQ / PQ activities as required for the process/products.\r\nDevelop detailed work instructions as needed.\r\nSupport operations with problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical issues.\r\nMaintain configuration management by properly naming and saving electronic files and programs.\r\nComplete all work assignments, design, and development projects with minimal supervision.\r\nContribute to the team environment by accomplishing results while cohesively working as a team member.\r\nWork within the framework and always abide by VulcanForms QMS (Quality Management System) and the requirements of the OSHA safety policies and procedures.\r\nPromote the use and adherence to our company's 7S and LEAN philosophies.Qualifications5+ Years experience of CNC Programming\r\nWorking knowledge of 3D modeling using Mastercam\r\nExpert knowledge of CNC machining (3 & 5 axis milling, single & dual spindle turning, and EDM)\r\nProven experience blueprint reading, GDT tolerance, composite tolerances, and dimensional inspection\r\nThorough understanding of work-holding design utilizing SMED techniques\r\nDecision-making ability: display a willingness to make decisions; exhibit sound and accurate judgment; support and explain the reasoning. Include appropriate people in the decision-making process; make timely decisions.\r\nTechnical competence and a high degree of mechanical aptitude (understanding software, hardware, etc.)\r\nDemonstrated accuracy and thoroughness.\r\nDetermine ways to improve and promote quality.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Additive Manufacturing.VulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
